Youth Outreach Dance Ministry presents 'A new beginning with God through dance'

YODM Press Release

BASSETERRE St. Kitts, May 20th 2011 - Once again, the Youth Outreach Dance Ministry is pleased to showcase another year of outstanding performances by our young dancers, hailing from the different churches within the federation.

The Ministry, which is the only Christian dance school within the federation is prepared and ready to excite you with some brand new pieces choreographed by their tutors, Ms. Andrea Caines, Mrs. Carla Taylor-Williams and Sheyjona Bass.  This year, we depict the theme from the number 8 which represents newness in God.  Our theme, “A New Beginning With God Through Dance” promises to be great and a blessing to anyone who plan to attend our recital on Sunday 29th May 2011 at the ECCB Auditorium starting 4:00pm sharp.

Ms. Andrea Caines, the director and choreographer of this Ministry, says after so much work, she would ensure that the audience would leave the recital feeling satisfied, and the seed that she has sown into these young lives will shine through their performances.

Our special guest this year will be Mr. O’Loughlin Tatem, a leading poet in the Federation, who will dedicate a poem to the tutors and students of the Ministry for 8 years of hard work.  Our host for the afternoon will be Min. Khrystus Wallace, who has been working with the Ministry for the past 6 years, and who always thrill the audience with laughter making sure that everyone leaves the recital smiling and feeling good that they had come.

The Ministry would like to take this time to thank the Almighty God for bringing us thus far, and allowing us to be able to showcase our talents once more for Him, to all the parents of the Ministry, we say thank you for taking the time out in bringing your dancers to class, and for choosing a dance school of such magnitude, Mr. Clifford Thomas, to our tutors, Ms Andrea Caines, Mrs. Carla Taylor-Williams and Sheyjona Bass, to Ms. Sandra “Cassy” Williams, Mrs. Orren Wyatts, and Ms Dian Pringle for doing such a wonderful job over the years in beautifying our dancers, and ensuring that they look dazzling before the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

To our fans, well-wishers, and supporters who rallied with us over the years, we thank you.

We extend a warm invitation to you the General public to a sterling afternoon of dance of very high standard.  If you missed last years’ performances, you cannot afford to miss this year.  We promise to give you a fulfilled spiritual time to remember.  The Ministry has come this far by FAITH leaning on the Lord.  “For we have FAITH and KNOWLEDGE resting on the HOPE of eternal life, which GOD, who does not lie, PROMISED before the beginning of time”.  Titus 11:2.  The Ministry is looking forward for many more years of dance recital.
