BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – MISS RESPECT Amelia Mc Koy was all smiles last night (May 27) as she stacked up the prizes for Best Talent, Best Evening Wear and Best Interview and took the title of the inaugural Beach Allen’s Primary School Miss A.R.M.O.U.R.

Following her was Barisha Cranstoun who represented the Behavior of Organisation. She also took the awards for Best Promotional Speech and Miss Amity, while Miss Responsibility Alyana Caines took the Second Runner-up spot.

Mc Koy, in the Talent segment, gave an original drama performance by playing the role of a rude child who later found out that her disrespectful ways caused her to miss out on certain important things.

Consequently, she decided to change her ways and expressed that respect could take one around the world and back.

She delivered it excellently and the audience seemed to have loved it, judging from the tumultuous and prolonged applause.

Her knee-length, hot pink and silver dazzling Evening Wear was dumbed ‘Pink Perfection’.

The other contestants were Miss Accountability Shalyah Williams, Miss Motivation Britney Wattley and Miss Unity Jahquysma Liburd, who was the Most Voted for Contestant and also Miss Photogenic.

Each contestant represented a behaviour that began with a letter from the abbreviated word A.R.M.O.U.R; a programme the school started last September with the theme ‘To be Accountable, Responsible, Motivated, Organise, United and Respectful’.

The show was well-attended and had seen performances by Infamus, Nicha B, Pinocchio, Silk and Footsy, who performed together and had the children gathered at the front of the stage in excitement as they sang and dance along.

Sandra ‘Sexy B’ Byron was the event’s host and music was provided by TNO Sounds.
