Alexander tallied 435 points with a thrilling performance of ‘Your Eyes’, which produced loud applauses and cheers from a very appreciative audience.

The other contestants were ITYC and Marshall C, Minister LK, Hotta Lyrics, Carter, DJ Delone, Seymona Hutton, Michael Chambers and Dollaz,

The show featured an array of genres performed by the participants, which included R&B, Rap and Dancehall.

The winner walked away with a grand price of EC$3 000, an all-expense paid video shoot sponsored by IREPSKN and a surprise gift from the Music Festival.

The night saw a large turnout and featured sideshow performances by Infamus, Nicha B, Footsy and Silk, Rolhensha and the Okolo Dance Group, among others.

Speaking with Alexander shortly after his victory, the teenager told SKNVibes that he was a little scared before his performance, but he went onstage and did what he had to do and it felt good winning.

Alexander said that was the first time he performed a solo in a competition. He had previously competed in ‘Clash Of The High School’ where his school emerged the winner.

He said his next move is to continue producing positive music and making his name a household one.
