FLORIDA, Miami – A Broadcast message on BlackBerry began circulating like wildfire last evening (May 29), indicating that singing sensation Sean Kingston had died following a jet ski accident.

However, after a few phone calls, SKNVibes was told by a booking agent and a close friend of Kingston that the artiste was alive.

He also said that Kingston had crashed into the Miami low Bridge along with a female who was with him and they are both in critical condition.

People.com also posted an article at 11:00 a.m. this morning stating that the singer has been stabilised.

They noted that “Kingston was heading west from the MacArthur Causeway and Miami Beach Islands when his personal watercraft collided with the bridge, and he and his female passenger ended up in the water. A good Samaritan tended to the two of them until Miami Beach Fire Rescue arrived and saw there were injuries."

Kingston’s publicist Joseph Carozza also issued the following statement: "Sean Kingston is now stabilised and has moved from the trauma unit to ICU. Sean's family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time."

Sean Kingston, who was born Kisean Anderson, is a Jamaican/American singer who came on the music scene in 2007 with ‘Beautiful Girls’ which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100.

He then had a number of other hits including ‘Me Love’, ‘Colours’, ‘Fire Burning’ and ‘Eenie Meeni’ with Justin Beiber.
