At approximately 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday 6th September 2006, Calvert Henry of CayonVillage died at the J.N.F. GeneralHospital after succumbing to a single gunshot injury. Henry a small businessman was shot in his neck at about 4:00 a.m. Saturday 2nd September 2006 during a robbery that occurred outside of his business place on Central Street, Basseterre. A post mortem will be held at a later date to determine the exact cause of death.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police is once again urging persons with information in relation to this incident, to contact the Criminal Investigation Department at 465-2241, extension 220, 236 or 466-8351 and can do so anonymously. Thursday 7th September 2006.
