The Police are investigating an incident that occurred on the night of Friday 8th September 2006, outside the St. Paul's Primary School grounds where the opening ceremony of Festival De Capistere took place.
During the incident, a sixteen-year-old male was injured in his head and subsequently transported to the J.N.F General Hospital where he succumbed to his injures at approximately 12:00 noon on Saturday 9th September 2006. The nature of the injuries sustained is not yet known and a post mortem will be carried out at a later date.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is urging persons with information in relation to this incident, to contact the St. Paul's Police Station at 465-6281 or the Criminal Investigation Department at 465-2241, extension 220, 236 or 466-8351 and can do so anonymously.
