    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, SEPTEMBER 19TH 2006  - St. Kitts and Nevis' Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas has congratulated the proud mother of the Federation's Independence baby.

     

    Following the traditional Independence Parade at the new Warner Park Stadium, the St. Kitts and Nevis leader visited all the patients at the Joseph N. France General Hospital.

     

    His first stop was the maternity ward where he congraulated all the new mothers on Independence Day. 

    Dr. Douglas has special congratulations for Ms. Ayeesha Stanley, who gave birth to the 2006 Independence Bay - a sevn pound by at 7:10 Tuesday morning.
