                                                                           Women Mobilize

The National Women’s Group held its inaugural meeting for the year at Sprat Net on Monday 4th and enjoyed quite a successful and enjoyable time as more that one hundred women braved the chill to show their support for their Party.

With the soothing backdrop of the waves lapping against the rocks the women were encouraged to overcome the understandable tiredness of fighting the good fight against the high cost of living, crime and corruption inflicted on us by this Labour Government over the last thirteen years to put in the necessary work during the home stretch.

I was excitedly noted that this year will be critical for the country and the People’s Action Movement as the impending election is certain to usher in a new PAM Government despite the criminal machinations of this Labour Government.

The women were treated to a rousing motivational address by Mrs. Junie Morton on the theme PAM MUST WIN, CHANGE MUST COME which will no doubt be the rallying cry going into the campaign for the General Election.

The candidates were present to mingle with their constituents and Political Leader Mr. Grant expressed his gratitude to the women for their hard work and devotion to the Party and encouraged them to keep up the good work in these final few months.

It was clear from the excitement in the air that the women are mobilized to do their part and deliver a win for the country and for the PAM!
