Security Forces endorse “See and no See”

This country has fallen into a very dangerous state. It is such that a person’s own mother will be standing in front of him or her, yet someone will be bold enough to tell that person it is not his/her mother. The syndrome of lies begins with Dr. Douglas and permeates every level of society. Sadly right is wrong and wrong is right. Too many Kittitians are making a strong effort to reverse the norm.
Dr. Douglas and his lackeys deem anyone who does not agree with them as LIARS or blind, they having sole domain of the truth. According to Dr. Douglas and his posse even the very church, its members and leaders are incapable of telling the truth. In some ways the Church has to take the blame.
In the 1990s the church organizations and other civic groups engaged in doing the bidding of the Labour party. Members of the church turned a blind eye, kept their lips sealed, so giving Labour a free hand to kill, burn and terrorize. Essentially a new culture emerged in which the Labour party got accustomed to the hypocritical behavior of the church and civil organizations.
The NGOs produced their report relating to the findings of polling day on January 25th 2010. This report commented on the behavior of Dr. Douglas and the security forces in places like Sandy Point and Halfway Tree. The members of the NGO and the people of the respective constituencies saw the security forces and Dr. Douglas with the eyes that God gave them. Pictures were taken and publicized, the whole world has seen. More so, there has been no legal challenge claiming doctoring or falsehoods. The security forces were actively engaged in escorting illegal voters from number six into Sandy Point and constituency number four. The security forces facilitated fraud. The same security forces which have been impotent in the fight against crime were very active in assisting persons to break the law.
It is insulting and unacceptable that the same security forces are condemning the churches and the NGOs.
Many of the persons recruited into the security forces are not of THE RIGHT STUFF, THE REQUIRED DISCIPLINE. Many of their former teachers can attest to this. Their school records will prove that they have been delinquent and unruly. TODAY THESE SAME PEOPLE ARE CRITICISING THE CHURCH, CASTIGATING DECENT PEOPLE.
In order to intimidate the people there is the habit of the security men dressing in army clothing.
They are armed with assault rifles. When the average person sees men in army fatigue they will call them soldiers. The Labour hypocrites and spinners then refer to these ordinary folks as LIARS and MISCHIEF MAKERS. This is exactly why the law comes down on civilians who wear army fatigue. Any civilian wearing army clothing in the process of committing a crime will lead to an undeserved scar or smear on the army. We just cannot have it both ways, we must be consistent.
It is clear that the security forces/army are repeating the words of Dr. Douglas. Dr. Douglas condemned the report and demanded a retraction; the services are doing the same. The prime minister is claiming that the people of the NGO group have a PAM agenda; the security forces are making the same claim. This is clearly the case of the pied piper. The corollary has to be accepted, i.e., the army/security forces are agents of the Labour party.
The signs are present and very worrisome; the security forces are not about the protection of country but about the protection of the dictatorial desires of Denzil Douglas. They seem to have no interest in nurturing democracy in this federation but have fallen as members of the Douglas cult. Few persons will believe that the statement read by Kayode Sutton originated from the officer. The pattern is clear because likewise few persons will believe that the statement read by JANET HARRIS came from the Christian lady.
The security forces involved themselves in lawlessness. There would have been no disorder if the people from number six did not go into Sandy Point and Halfway Tree to vote. The men in the security forces did not seek to protect their image and that of their institution. The security forces have a lot to consider. Will they do the dirty work for Dr. Douglas while his children are safe in the USA? These men have to understand that a cultural change has taken place.
The security forces have been heard to ask the people who see crime to offer evidence and give testimony. They have complained that in the largest crowd and in the peak midday sun everybody claims not to have seen. Strangely the same security forces that have expressed frustration is now expecting the same “SEE AND NO SEE” from the people in Sandy Point, Halfway Tree and in the NGO Coalition. Dr. Douglas’ behaviour was to be seen BUT NOT SEEN.
This is a big contradiction because this is just what the bad boys need. In fact the services are behaving like the bad men – demanding a retraction by the NGO coalition. The bad boys actually “retract” the witnesses in order to suppress the evidence. The security forces too have been engaged in evidence suppression. This is the reason why Kimberly Ward was harassed. There is a clear difference between an Apple and a HP computer.
This is the kind of behavior which erodes the people’s trust in the security forces, why there have been reports of information given to them falling back to the criminals. The outright lying by the security services will not engender the public’s confidence. In the case of the young man Nkomo, the security forces will be investigating itself. This is untenable, an attempt to suppress the truth.
“SEE AND DON’T TELL” cannot be condemned in the case of the ordinary criminals but endorsed when it comes to the behavior of Dr. Douglas and the security forces.
The people will be looking to see if the NGO coalition will buckle to Dr. Douglas’ and the services’ DEMAND to “SEE AND DON’T TELL”.
