National Bank proudly makes donation to International Coastal Clean-up Campaign
National Bank knows the value of preserving our natural resources as our heritage and is cognizant of the importance of environmental awareness from a global standpoint.
For this reason, National was able to play a vital role in the International Coastal Clean-up Campaign that took place on several beaches in St Kitts on Friday 22nd September, 2006.
National Bank gave of its resources to this very worthy cause, not only in the form of a monetary contribution to help purchase cleaning supplies, but also in time.
Staff members of National Bank (Mrs Patricia Wilkinson at centre and Mrs Sheridan Hendrickson at right) joined with students of Washington Archibald high schools to comb local beaches in order to remove and catalogue debris that had been carelessly discarded.
National was honoured to support such an initiative as it will teach the youth the importance of cherishing our heritage, aid in reducing the pollution of our natural resources and preserve our beaches for this and the generations to come.
