Press Release
The People's Action Movement extends its most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Sargeant Clive Benjamin of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force. Sargeant Benjamin was killed in the line of duty while attempting to apprehend escaped convict Nigel Langley.  The incident took place at about 5:15 am on Sunday 1st October, 2006.

The People's Action Movement again calls on the Denzil Douglas administration to do everything in its power to speedily address the concerns of the Police Welfare Association and to seek national consensus on fighting crime in the Federation.  The government is urged to explore the recommendations of the PAM's 16 Point Crime Stoppers Plan.

The People's Action Movement pledges its support to our Nation's Security Forces and encourages all citizens to assist the police in their quest to return peace and stability to our once peaceful Nation.  The heroic efforts of Mr. P.Terry Isaac in assisting the police must be commended.
