    Cable & Wireless wishes to confirm to the general public that it has contracted an Independent Research Firm to carry out its annual Voice of the Customer Survey which started on 25th September and will run for 4 weeks.
     
    In that survey, telecommunications customers are being called to better understand their telephone needs. 
     
    Cable & Wireless can also confirm that it is not involved in any joint survey being carried out with Digicel. 

    We are aware statements made earlier on Friday alleged that Cable and Wireless presented the survey as a joint venture.  

    These statements are not correct.  C&W would have no incentive to present the Voice of the Customer in such a manner.  

    C&W is actively seeking to determine the source of this erroneous information.
     
    The Voice of the Customer survey has been conducted for several years and has been a key source of customer feedback, which we use to make changes to our services .  

    Cable & Wireless stands by the integrity of this survey and continues to look to customers to give us the information we need to serve you better.
