| Dr. Vincent Audain |
BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, OCTOBER 16TH 2006 - A St. Kitts-born Opthalmologist at one of Canada's leading universities, is getting another honour.
Dr. Vincent Audain, will receive a Doctor of Laws (Honoris Causa) degree during Dalhousie University Fall Convocation on October 21st 2006.
Dr. Audain is the first recipient of the Dr. John Savage Award from the International Health Office, Dalhousie University.
He was awarded the Star of Merit in the 2005 Order of Honours, Decoration and Medals on National Heroes Day.
Dr. Audain is a former President and Secretary of the Atlantic Provinces Ophthalmological Society (APOS).
Dr. Audain is St. Kitts and Nevis' Honorary Consul in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
