    Chairman of CARICOM and Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas
    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, OCTOBER 16TH 2006 -
     Proposals from the Dominican Republic on CARICOM-CARIFORUM Relations, recommendations from the Committee of Heads of Government and Leaders of Parliamentary Opposition to carry forward the dialogue and the Second Annual Report of the Board of the Caribbean Court of Justice Trust Fund  and Report on the Adequacy of the Fund are among matters on the agenda when the 21st Meeting of the Bureau of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community convenes here on Tuesday.
     
    Current CARICOM Chairman, St. Kitts and Nevis' Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas; Incoming Chairman, St. Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister, Dr. the Ralph Gonsalves; Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Hon. Patrick Manning and CARICOM Secretary General His Excellency, Dr. Edwin Carrington are expected to attend the meeting at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB).
     
    The CARICOM Bureau will also discuss the reorganisation of the meetings of the Conference and the proposed rotation schedule for the Chairmanship of the Conference, matters which were discussed at the 27th Meeting of the Conference in St. Kitts and Nevis last July.
     
    The CARICOM Bureau will also receive a Report from the Technical Team and major issues related to the Prime Ministerial visit to Haiti on Wednesday; receive an update on the finalisation of the CARICOM Development Fund and discuss preparations for the upcoming United Kingdom-Caribbean Investment Forum at Lancaster House in London.

    Preparations for Cricket World Cup 2007, the agenda and other issues related to the 12th Special Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community from November 6th to 7th in Trinidad & Tobago are also on the agenda of the one-day meeting.
