(Basseterre; St. Kitts): Monday October 16 marked the start of a new promotion that will be carried out by Digicel Wireless a wireless telecommunications operator in St. Kitts.
"Key to Your Fortune" is the name of the promotion where customers can win weekly cash prizes and a grand prize of EC$50, 000. The promotion will end January 3, 2007.
Whenever the customer top up their prepaid phones with the Flex Cards, or electronically they will receive a letter to which they need to spell out the word, DIGICEL.
After collecting all the letters in the word the customer can take in their letters along with receipt of purchase of a top up which is more than EC$10 and will receive a cheque of EC$1,000 and a key. That key will give them the gateway to their fortune into the final draw for the grand prize.
There will also be weekly prizes of EC$500, and post paid customers are automatically entered into the draw once they pay their bill on time.
A press conference was held on Monday morning at the Ocean Terrace Inn to introduce the promotion to the media and general public listening on the radio stations.

Donovan White, Marketing Manager for St. Kitts, Nevis and Anguilla said that the promotion will bring a lot of excitement to the Federation.
"As we move closer to Christmas, we recognize that this is a time for giving and Digicel is proud to give its customers a wonderful opportunity to win a fantastic grand prize of $50, 000," he said.
"All our customers will benefit and can compete for the weekly prizes as well as for the chance to become a finalist for the grand prize."
He also said that this was a great way for Digicel to reward its loyal customers and continue Digicel's ongoing commitment of giving back to the community.
Ten customers after spelling out the word DIGICEL and receiving the key will at the final draw try their key at the fortune chest.
The key that opens the chest will win the $50, 000 grand prize.
