    Basseterre, St. Kitts (April 20, 2004): A meeting of the National Human Development Agenda Steering Committee is slated for today.
     
    The committee which aims at steering the nation into positive action towards the development of a poverty reduction plan is finalizing coordination for the hosting of a training workshop for community leaders.
     
    Community leaders who were previously identified will have the responsibility to guide consultations in their respective communities to ensure progressive outcomes.
     
    The training is scheduled for the first week of May for community leaders from St. Kitts and Nevis.
     
    The National Coordinator Ms Jovil Martin said she is pleased with the interest and anticipation being exhibited by scheduled participants towards the process of the development of the poverty reduction plan.
