| Llewelyn Meggs | Good news for fans seeking accommodation options for next year's ICC Cricket World Cup they now have a wide range of Bed & Breakfast choices!
The overwhelming demand for reasonably-priced accommodation during the tournament, being held in the Caribbean in March and April 2007, has spurred the establishment of a Bed & Breakfast Programme by ICC Cricket World Cup West Indies 2007 Inc. and the nine Host Venues.
A variety of properties are now available throughout the nine Host Venues, ranging from private luxury villas and guest houses to small apartments, independent hotels and home-stay entities.
All Bed & Breakfast accommodations have been required to meet high standards in terms of hospitality, safety and security.
~~Adz:Right~~Depending on which option a fan chooses, he or she could have the opportunity to savour everyday Caribbean life, with some Bed & Breakfast proprietors also offering other services, such as meals, ground transport, tours and even entertainment to enhance their packages.
Cricket World Cup is committed to providing information on the availability of all types of accommodation for international travellers.
The Bed & Breakfast Programme is one such avenue for fans. It is also a great opportunity for small proprietors, throughout the Caribbean, to benefit from Cricket World Cup," noted ICC CWC 2007 Project Officer " Tour & Travel, Llewelyn Meggs.
He added that the development and implementation of the Bed & Breakfast Programme, in conjunction with various national agencies, will be of long-term benefit to the region.

Sporting events, such as the ICC Champions Trophy in 2010, and the many carnivals throughout the Caribbean will be able to use this format to set up similar programmes," he explained, disclosing that the number of Bed & Breakfast properties is constantly increasing with new persons signing on steadily.
