~~Adz:Left~~Basseterre, St. Kitts (October 25, 2006): During the month of September several police officers called into work stating that they were sick.
Some persons stated that some where indeed sick and some planed it due to the fact that they where not up to the task for Independence Day March.
However those police officers who called in sick saw a whole in their pay slip in other words money was taken out of their pay.
Officers are very upset and are left to wonder how their mortgage for this month will be paid.
These officers are by any means going to take action. The police welfare was to meet with the Prime minister yesterday Tuesday 24, 2006 but was not able to do so because it appears that the conference room could not hold eleven persons.
Apparently only five individuals was able to see the Prime Minister, but however the officers decided that they came as a team so if all can not go in at once none at all will go in to see the Prime Minister.
Officers are upset and are questioning the government of this country.
