    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, OCTOBER 27TH 2006 
    Undeclared cargo of 41 cases of Heineken beer on a vessel from St.Vincent has cost the boat captain EC$10,000 and seizure of the goods.
    Police report that a joint operation carried out by the Drug Unit and the Canine Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and Customs on the MV Lady Susan, on suspicion of controlled drugs, arms, ammunition and smuggled goods was carried out on October 23.

    "No controlled drugs or arms were found as the canine (police dogs) did not show indications of such. However 41 cases of Heineken Beer were found aboard the vessel, which was not declared on the manifest by the captain," the police reported.
    Customs charged Capt. Nicholas Jones of Pembroke, St. Vincent EC$10,000 for failing to declare the 41 cases of Heineken Beer.
    A customs source said that the 41 cases have been seized.
