~~Adz:Left~~(Basseterre; St. Kitts): Several cases were traversed from the 2006 September Assizes and will be heard at the January 2007 Criminal Assizes. Today, Monday, October, 30, several matters came before the Basseterre, High Court, including that of Keithson Grant who was charged with Indecent Assault.
Sylvester Kelly who was charged with Wounding with intent and Unlawful Wounding and Kurt Guitierrez who was charged with Indecent Assault will all have their cases heard at the January Assizes.
Also Anthony Phillip, he was charged with Causing Grievous Bodily Harm and Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm and Leroy Browne was charged with Shop Breaking and Larceny were asked to reappear in court on January 9, where their case dates will be set for the new Assizes.
A murder case involving Steve Isaac, Melvin Liburd, Jermaine Williams and Craig Hamilton will also be heard at the new criminal assizes. The four men are jointly charged with the murder of a man at the Frigate Bay beach vicinity.
Gavin Herbert who was charged with Robbery will have his matter heard tomorrow Tuesday, October, 31.
