~~Adz:Left~~On Saturday 28th October 2006, officers of the Old Road Police District responded to a report of a fight in the ChallengersVillage area. Investigations revealed that at approximately 10:45 a.m., a fight ensued between two male residents of the village which resulted in both persons being injured and one persons hand was completely severed.
On Monday 30th October 2006, Anthony James of Challengers was charged in relation with the said incident, with the offence of "Wounding with Intent" and is expected to appear before the Magistrate Court shortly.
On 29th October 2006, Elcado Jacobs of Newtown and Kerry Lowry of PhillipsVillage were both charged with the offence of "Possession of a Controlled Drug" to wit cannabis, committed on the said date at the Gardens Playing Field.
On 29th October 2006, Elex Morris of TempleAlley, Basseterre was charged with the offence of "House Breaking and Larceny" committed on 23rd October 2006 at Blue Belle Alley Basseterre.
~~Adz:Right~~The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force would like to urge persons who patronize football games at the Gardens venue to desist from congregating on the roof of the CFBCTechnicalCollege and the IrishTownPrimary School.
Persons who continue this practice will be prosecuted against for Trespassing on the said premises. The cooperation of the public is also being solicited to protect these premises from vandalism and theft.
