    ~~Adz:Right~~Basseterre, St. Kitts (November 3, 2006): Electoral Reform Consultative Committee (ERCC) members are back in the Federation after six public consultations in the United Kingdom and four public consultations in North America, which brought to a close the Town Hall Meetings for the St. Kitts and Nevis Electoral Reform Exercise that was launched on Wednesday, August 23, 2006.

    The ERCC has accepted recommendations from stakeholders in the reform process since Town Hall Meetings began on Monday, September 4, 2006.

    It is still accepting recommendations for an improved electoral system.

    Stakeholders residing in St. Kitts-Nevis and abroad can submit their suggestions via e-mail to erccsubmissions@gov.kn, by phone at (869) 467-1555/1554, or by post or in person to the St. Kitts and Nevis Electoral Reform Secretariat, Former Development Bank Building, Church Street, Basseterre.

    The deadline for submissions is this Monday, November 6, 2006.
