     - The St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party Administration's continues its commitment to provide an improved and reliable electricity service to residents of the twin-island Federation.

    Minister of Public Works and Utilities, Dr. the Hon. Earl Asim Martin said the island-wide Electricity Supply Improvement Project continues and the new Sandy Point Feeder will soon be commissioned.
     
    The Electricity Department on Tuesday informed consumers living in the area from Trinity to Fig Tree and who are on the Sandy Point Feeder that they will experience a number of power outages.
     
    Residents of Two Mile Hill will affected on Monday 13th November from 8:30 A.M to 4:00 P.M.  Those living in the areas from Trinity to Lamberts will experience power outages on Wednesday 15th from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
     
    "At the end of the exercise, the residents of these areas will enjoy better voltage and improved reliability," the Department said in a release.
     
    The improvement in electricity to consumers is part of a US$20 million Electricity and Water Supply Improvement Project (EWSIP) signed in 2001 and ~~Adz:Right~~financed through a loan from the Bank of Nova Scotia.
