About us: The Salvation army is a part of the evangelical church that is a non profit organization we depend on funding from you the public to operate the programs that we have up and going.

Programs operated by the Salvation Army
St. Kitts & Nevis.
Pre-school: parents in and out of the community are afforded the opportunity of having their children come to The Salvation Army pre-school and receive quality care at an affordable price. In addition to this the children are given a hot meal daily as part of our program.
Youth activities: children are bused to the various activities at the Salvation Army hall weekly, these activities include:

Study of the word (designed for youths of all ages)

Youth group that is focused on 4 areas service, education, fellowship, worship this is open to all youths.

They are trained in public speaking.

Drama presentations.

Adult activities:
Women in and out of the community regardless of their church affiliation or religious persuasion are given training in the art of sewing by a professional seamstress. Many women take advantage of the opportunity.
This is an extension of our womens ministry that is open to women of all ages.

Visits to shut in elderly persons,

Visits to the various senior citizens homes in St. Kitts and Nevis,

We also work closely with the police department in dealing with Juveniles who for some reason or the other find themselves in trouble with the law by going to witness statements, or seeing to it that their rights are not violated when they are being charged with an offence, this sometimes entails going to court as the need arises.
- In addition to all of this frequent visits are done at the various schools on the island to conduct devotions and lectures from time to time.
- Counseling is also given as the need arise.
- We also sit as one of the members of the education advisory board to advise the minister of education on matters relating to education on the twin federation.
- Senior citizens are not left out they receive from us hampers and clothing as the need arises.
