Police Press Release

    Walcott Webbe of St. Johnson Village, Basseterre.
    (Basseterre; St. Kitts): The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred on the Frigate Bay Road at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Thursday 16th November 2006.

     

     

     

    The accident involved motor vehicle P4903, driven by the registered owner and a pedal bike which was at the time being ridden by the decease.

     

     

     

    On arrival at the scene, the officers discovered the lifeless body of an adult male lying on the side of the road.

     

     

     

    He was later identified as thirty-three (33) year old Walcott Webbe of St. Johnson Village, Basseterre.

     

     

     

    Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the incident and the driver of the vehicle, Mr. Vincent Woods of Bird Rock, is in police custody assisting with the investigation.

     



    The following persons were arrested and charged on 16th November 2006;

     

     

     

    ·        Curtis Liddie alias Septy of Camps Village was charged with the offence of Larceny committed on 6th November 2006.

     

     

     

    ·        A seventeen-year-old male juvenile of Saddlers Village was charged with the offence of Indecent Assault committed on 15th November 2006.

     

     

     

     

     

    ~~adz:right~~At the District B Magistrate Court on 16th November 2006, Alex Jules of St. Pauls Village who was charged with the offence of Wounding was convicted and fined $2,000.00 to be paid by 17th November 2006 or in default to serve six (6) months imprisonment.
