    The Staff of Choice FM
(Charlestown; Nevis): On Friday, Nov. 24, Choice F.M. Community Radio will commence a week of activities to commemorate its first anniversary of broadcast.

Broadcaster Carmen Carey-Griffin affectionately known as Sister C described their first year of broadcast as exceptional.

"This has also been a lifelong dream for me and I am happy that at this stage it has become a reality.  The way that people have reacted and are still reacting to me is awesome.  I am not going to let it get to my head but it feels good," she said. "We have touched the community in so many different ways that it makes you realize that sometimes people don't know what you can do until you do it."

She continued: "I would encourage people to keep listening to Choice F.M. because Choice is a media that is so much different from all the other media. You wake up in the morning with something to listen to.  Once you listen to Choice in the morning you will start your day uplifted.  Choice actually prepares you for your day."

On Friday the community station will host an open day, which will be open to anyone who wishes to sing, play instruments, and recite poetry, etc.

Various ministers will open the Morning Show and after this they will air congratulatory messages from listeners, advertisers and notably the Premier Joseph Parry as well as Choice F.M. visionary Rawlinson Isaac. ~~adz:Right~~

The open day will culminate with presentations of previous historical programs being made to the Nevis Historical Conservation Society as well as certificates of appreciation to frequent callers, members, advertisers and other supporters.
