~~adz:Right~~Basseterre, St. Kitts (November 28, 2006): Women in Nevis join their counterparts in St. Kitts when they host a Women in Politics and Leadership Workshop in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender Affairs on St. Kitts.
The completion of this workshop which started in October, will ensure that women throughout the Federation have had the opportunity to equip themselves with tools that would steer them towards decision making roles.
Some of the topics on the agenda for the OctoberDecember seminar are Transformational Leadership, The Constitution, Gender Issues, Womens Priorities, Campaign Management, Effective Communication, Community Mobilization and Policy Planning.
Facilitators include Director of Gender Affairs Mrs. Ingrid Charles Gumbs, Nevis Deputy Premier Hon. Hensley Daniel, Mr. Ricaldo Caines, Reverend Salome James, Mrs. Annette Manners, and Mr. Halstead Byron among others.
