·         Elroy Stead of Upper Market Street was charged with the offence of "Driving under the Influence of Alcohol" committed on 26^th November 2006. He was later bailed in the sum of $5,000.00 to appear at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday 4^th December 2006.

·         Shawn Braizer of Newtown was charged with the offence of "Larceny" committed on 15^th November 2006.

·         Latesha Carty of Willets Project, St. Pauls and Keryl Carty of Lovers Lane, St. Pauls were charged with the offence of Causing Grievous Bodily Harm committed on 19^th November 2006.

The following persons were convicted at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday 27^th November 2006;

·         Vernon Richardson of Basseterre who was charged with the offence of "Obtaining Credit by False Pretenses" and "Uttering" committed on 21^st August 2006, was convicted and sentenced to serve four (4) months imprisonment with hard labour.

·         Sandra Roberts of Basseterre, who was charged with the offence of "Battery" committed on 7^th July 2006, was convicted and fined $500.00 to be paid in two (2) weeks or in default to serve one (1) month imprisonment with hard labour.

·         Elroy Cannonier of Newtown, who was charged with the offence of "Obstruction" committed on 11^th June 2006, was convicted and fined $800.00 to be paid in one (1) month.

·         Rohan Matthew of Newtown, who was charged with the offence of "Battery" committed on 13^th May 2006, was convicted and ordered to pay compensation in the sum of $750.00 to be paid in three (3) months or in default to serve one (1) month imprisonment with hard labour.

~~adz:left~~At the Sandy Point Magistrate Court, Ellis Ottley of Old Road who was charged with the offence of "Wounding" committed on 30^th July 2006 was convicted and fined $1,500.00 to be paid by 8^th December 2006 or in default to serve six (6) months imprisonment.

Also at the said court, Stanley Warde of Harris Village who was charged with the offence of Burglary was committed to stand trial at the January 2007 Criminal Assizes.
