(Basseterre; St. Kitts): OoJj's 24hr Gas station is celebrating five (5) years of service as the 24hr Gas Station was started on Dec. 8 in 2001.
Othneil Hyliger, managing director of OoJj's has been a contractor for 26 years. He spoke to SKNVibes.com, yesterday, Tuesday, Dec. 5 and said that he started this business because he wanted to get involved in something different. He said that he realized the increase of cars in the federation and thought that a 24hr gas station would make the ideal business.
He said he is very well known in the community and even though most people don't know him by name they know of his business and the services which his gas station offers.
Hyliger said that his business also offers a convenient store, mini grocery store and a drinks depot along with a deli and more.~~Adz:Right~~
As his business celebrates its 5th Anniversary they will be having a week of promotions. On Sunday Dec. 3, a thanksgiving ceremony was held for the staff, there will also be a radio quiz with gifts compliment their suppliers held, a Raffle for a trip to St. Martin and a Buffet lunch all week costing $20 and $25.
On Friday, Dec. 8 which is the actual anniversary day, all customers who buy from the business gets a chance to win a big prize and all customers who spend $50 or more receives a free coolant.
The Legends Tent is scheduled to perform at OoJj's on Friday night.
Saturday, Dec. 9 will be their special "Market day" for all suppliers to attend and market their best products.
Hyliger concluded that in order to start and maintain a successful business one has to be a hard worker.

"You have to decide what you want and set your own goals and work towards it, stay focus and don't give up," he said.
