·         On 4^th December 2006, Davida Phipps of Lower Thibou Avenue who was charged with the offence of "Wounding" committed on 12^th June 2006 was convicted and fined $500.00 to be paid in one (1) month or in default to serve fourteen (14) days imprisonment with hard labour.

·         On 4^th December 2006, Winston Laville of Lower Fiennes Avenue who was charged with the offence of "Battery" committed on 12^th June 2006 was convicted and discharged.

·         On 5^th December 2006, Rohan Matthew of Newtown who was charged with the offence of "Indecent Language" committed on 27^th February 2006 was convicted and fined $500.00 to be paid in one (1) day or in default to serve one (1) month imprisonment with hard labour.~~Adz:Right~~

At the Charlestown Magistrate Court on 5^th December 2006 the following persons were convicted;

·         Allen Nisbette of Ramsbury who was charged with the offence of "Possession of a Controlled Drug" to wit cannabis committed on 17^th June 2006 was convicted and fined $2500.00 to be paid in twelve (12) months or in default to serve six (6) months imprisonment with hard labour.

·         James Weekes of Ponds Pasture, St. Kitts who was charged with the offence of "Driving without due care and attention" at Pinneys on 10^th November 2006 was convicted and fined $800.00 to be paid in one (1) month or in default to serve one (1) month imprisonment with hard labour.

·         Vaughn Anslyn of Ramsbury who was charged with the offence of "Driving without a valid license" on 8^th November 2006 was convicted and fined $500.00 to be paid in one (3) months or in default to serve one (1) month imprisonment with hard labour.~~Adz:Right~~

·         Jamal Woods of Barnaby who was charged with the offence of "Wounding" committed on 8^th August 2006 was convicted and fined $1,000.00 to be paid in one (12) months or in default to serve one (6) months imprisonment. He was also ordered to pay the complainant compensation to the sum of $1,500.00.

 The following persons were arrested and charged on 4^th December 2006;

·         Tyrone Fyfield of Ponds Extension was charged with the offence of "Possession of a Firearm with intent to endanger or cause serious injury to others".  Fyfield is the fourth person charged with this particular offence stemming from a shooting incident that occurred committed on 28^th July 2006 at Carty Alley, Newtown.

·         Junior Freeman alias "Bull" of St. Pauls was charged with the offence of "Wounding with Intent" committed on 13^th October 2006.
