On Saturday 9th December 2006, Forensic Pathologist Dr. Stephen Jones performed an autopsy on the body of Jason Marsham formerly of Godwin Ghaut. Dr. Jones stated that in his opinion, death was due to a gunshot wound to the right side of his chest resulting in shock and haemorrhage.
At approximately 3:00 p.m. on Friday 8th December 2006, officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force responded to a report of a bomb threat at the J.N.F GeneralHospital.
The police improvised explosive device (IED) technicians and other officers searched the Hospital compound but did not find any suspicious device.
On Friday 8th December 2006 James Ham of Sandy Point was charged with the offences of "Building Breaking and Larceny" committed between 21st and 22nd August and the offence of "Escaping Lawful Custody" committed on 12th November 2006.

·On the 7th December 2006, a seventeen-year-old male juvenile of Upper Market Street was charged with the offence of "Wounding with Intent" committed on 2nd December 2006 at Princess Street, Basseterre.
·On the 8th December 2006, Elroy Prentice alias "Taxi" of PhillipsVillage and Terrence Wilson alias "Redman" of LodgeVillage were charged with the offence of "Possession of a Controlled Drug" to wit cannabis, committed on the same date.
·On 8th December June Noland of Downing Street, Sandy Point was charged with the offence of Malicious Damage committed on 5th December 2006.

On 7th December 2006, at the Basseterre Magistrate Court the following persons were convicted of traffic offences;
·Enrique Skelton of Shear Lane, who was charged with the offence of "Careless Driving" was convicted and fined $500.00 payable in one week or in default to serve two weeks imprisonment with hard labour.
·Damian Michael Stapleton of CayonVillage who was charged with the offence of "Careless Driving" was convicted and fined $350.00 payable in one week or in default to serve two weeks imprisonment with hard labour.
·Saju N'Galla of Bird Rock, who was charged with the offence of "Driving an Unlicensed Vehicle" was convicted and fined $200.00 payable in one week or in default to serve one week imprisonment with hard labour.
·Collen Daniel of OttleysVillage who was charged with the offence of "Driving without a valid license" was convicted and fined $100.00 payable in one week or in default to serve one week imprisonment with hard labour.
·Ivan Mulley of Parsons Village, who was charged with the offence of "Failing to comply with traffic signs" to wit "In Only" at the bus terminal was convicted and fined $100.00 payable in one day or in default to serve one week imprisonment with hard labour.
