Tuesday December 12, 2006- - - Former Prime Minister Dr. Kenny Anthony has conceded defeat in the general elections as preliminary results indicate that his Saint Lucia Labour Party lost the Government by 11 to 6.to the United Workers Party (UWP) lead by Sir John Compton.
Supporters of the (UWP) took to the streets last night in celebration after the (SLP) leader conceded defeat in the general election.~~Adz:Right~~
