On Monday 11th December 2006, members of the Security Forces conducted an operation in the West Farm area in search of Che Gregory Spencer alias "Duck Foot" who was wanted on a warrant of arrest for the murder of the late Jason Marsham alias "Worlo" of Godwin Ghaut.
At about 6:30 p.m. the wanted man was spotted walking along a cane range at Dewars, and he was ordered to stop and surrender, whereupon he opened fire on the Forces who returned fire and in the exchange Che Spencer aka Gregory Thompson aka Gregory Liburd was injured.
He was taken to J.N.F. GeneralHospital where he is warded. None of the Security Force officers were injured during the incident. .~~Adz:Right~~
Spencer will be formally arrested and charged with the December 5th shooting of Jason Marsham.
