(Basseterre; St. Kitts): The BULLSEYE Auto Rental Company held its grand opening on Thursday Dec. 14 at the company location on Frigate Bay Road immediately behind Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. The company is owned by Winston Estridge.
Estridge said before a gathering that there are many car rental companies in St. Kitts but wants to distinguish himself from those other companies by offering a different variety of cars.
He added that the name "Bullseye" was chosen because the area was known as "BULLSEYE" before it was called Bird Rock.
Minister Asim Martin who was also present at the opening said that he welcomes this car rental company to Basseterre and to the federation and he is glad to see that nationals are buying into the new economy.
Martin wished Estridge and his family all the best and success for the future.
The selection of rentals the company offers includes luxuriously equipped vehicles such as the executive class Land Rover Freelander HSE, with leather interior and a retractable moon-roof.
The classy Sebring convertible with push-button retractable roof and leather seats plus the rugged Jeep Wrangler X, 4X4, are both from the Sport class.
The full-sized Ford Taurus, some with leather seats, remote entry and trunk release and also a selection of the Ford Focus, Kia Rio, Kia Spectra, Dodge Neon and Dodge Caravan are from various other classes of vehicles.
There is also for the contractor or mover, the 7 ft. long-bed Ford Ranger pick-up truck that will also be offered. All vehicles come with multiple air bags for safety and are equipped with air conditioning for comfort.
