(Basseterre; St. Kitts): Eight (8) contenders will come up against the reigning Party Monarch Konris Maynard on Tuesday 26th December from 8.00 pm at Carnival City.
.~~Adz:Left~~This spicy blend of Soca and Calypso will be vigorously stirred into one hot musical party experience from "In de Sauce Pan" by De Provoker - Fitzroy Robinson to "No Ask Me 4 Nutt'n" by Newzflash - Flexton Woolward. Foxy - Kanava Pereira, will "Rock the Boat" while Ras Kelly " Kelvin Kelly will go wild in "Masquerade". Jacinth Smithen - Shakkie will perform "Hello" and Raymond Browne known as Smiley will take you "Up Dey".
Chubby - Jermane Clarke will be focusing on "Festival" and the Hot Rod - the 2005 Turkey Killer, will "Just Do It".
House Band - the Grand Masters will accompany the nine (9) entrants including - The Party Monarch - King Konris whose composition is "Feeling Good"..~~Adz:Right~~
The three (3) Official Judges for the 2006-2007 Party Monarch Competition will be awarding a maximum of 25 points for Melody (Catchy Tune), Witty/Humourous Lyrics 15 points, Stage Presence during Performance 20 points, Originality 15 points and Crowd Response/Popular Appeal 25 points for a total of 100 points.
This year's Party Monarch Competition on Tuesday 26th December is expected to attract a large crowd as the compositions are very popular, catchy and are receiving maximum air play on request of the various fans.
