BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS (MAY 10TH 2004) – Over 270 British tourists disembarked from a British Airways 747 Jumbo jet when it arrived Saturday evening at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport from Heathrow International Airport in London.
Airport immigration officers processed the large number of visitors in 20 minutes. Customs officers assisted in processing the visitors who were taken by local taxi buses to the waterfront where they were ferried to the Four Seasons Resort on Nevis where they will stay for one week.

It enables the resort to carry on a healthy revenue stream during periods of traditionally lower occupancy levels, while at the same time reaching an impressive base of potential visitors to Nevis.

“We enjoy sharing our resort with local residents and island visitors,” added Resort Manager Martin Sinclair, who added: “We value the local patronage in our restaurants, golf course and spa, and appreciate everyone's understanding at this time.”
