    ~~adz:Left~~Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 25th, 2007- Creating business for the St. Kitts Tourism Industry, was the goal of the private and public tourism representatives, who traveled to Aruba, recently.  
    Caribbean Marketplace (formerly CHA Marketplace) is recognized as the most important tourism marketing event of the year for the Caribbean region and it sets the tone for travel packaging in the Caribbean.  

    Buyers such as  wholesalers, incentive buyers, meeting planners, and suppliers, which include  tourism service and product providers from 36 Caribbean destinations; met to broker business deals.  One such achieved for the destination, was the commitment by a Canadian tour operator, Sunquest, to extend their service into St. Kitts, starting in the 2007 winter season.  Flights which will come out of this ~~adz:Right~~arrangement will arrive on Mondays.

    "The Caribbean Marketplace is very important to the destination because of the arrangements that are made to grow the number of visitors to the island in a sustainable way.  With Sunquest travel on board, it is now for us to be ready to welcome these visitors and give them an unforgettable experience that makes them want to return and tell their friends," said Unoma Allen, Corporate Communications Manager. 

    Marketing the destination of St. Kitts is the main mandate of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority.
