Terrence Crossman and Shaveti Bejamin of Cable and Wireless.
    (Basseterre; St. Kitts):
Cable and Wireless held a press conference yesterday, Tuesday Feb. 20 at the Credit Union Conference Room to launch their new product device, the BlackBerry Pearl to the media.

BlackBerry is the leading wireless enterprise solution that keeps the mobile professional connected at all times at work, at home, or on the go.   It provides secure wireless access to a full suite of business applications.

According to Terrence Crossman, Vice President of Corporate Accounts and Shaveti Benjamin, the BlackBerry Pearl is more than just a phone; it's easy to use, it allows you to do your job wherever you are and you're no longer a slave to your desk and it is more dependable than your office server.

A number of reasons were outlined why anyone should consider having a BlackBerry  - 'it doesn't bring you more email, just more ways to manage them; it offers a real-time link to your office for sending, reading and responding to important messages.'

BlackBerry provides a secure solution for wireless extending corporate data and applications.

Benjamin also outlined the features of the Pearl and some of the 'WOW' factors such as the organizer, video player, flash memory, audio and much more.

The official launch to the public will take place this Thursday at the Ocean Terrace Inn.
