The following persons were convicted at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Tuesday 6th March 2007;
·Kenrick Thomas of West Bourne Ghaut, Basseterre was convicted of the offence of 'Being found in an enclosed premise for some unlawful purpose' committed on 26th February 2007 at the YouthSkillsTrainingCenter. Thomas pleaded guilty to the charge and was subsequently sentenced to serve six (6) weeks imprisonment with hard labour.
·Terrance Casey alias 'Donkey' of Shear Lane, Basseterre was convicted of the offence of 'Larceny' committed on 15th December 2006, and was fined $750.00 to be paid in one (1) month or in default to serve six (6) months imprisonment with hard labour.~~adz:Right~~
The following persons were convicted at the Sandy Point Magistrate Court on Tuesday 6th March 2007;
·Peter Procope of DieppeBay, who was charged with the offence of 'Wounding' committed on 18th February 2007, pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $1,000.00 to be paid in three (3) months or in default to serve three (3) months imprisonment.
·Williams Gift of The Alley, SandyPoint who was charged with the offence of 'Wounding' committed on 10th January 2007, pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $800.00 to be paid in one (1) month or in default to serve one (1) month imprisonment.
The following persons were charged with offences on 6th March 2007;
·Dujon Griffin Willett of Salt Pond Alley, Basseterre was charged with the offence of 'Wounding' committed on 5th December 2006 at Basseterre.
·Seymour James of Farms Site, SandyPoint was charged with the offence of 'Wounding with Intent to do grievous bodily harm' committed against Athnell Duncan on Monday 5th March 2007 at SandyPoint.
·Lawton Forbes of Hamilton, Nevis was charged with the offences of 'Armed Robbery' committed on 27th February 2007 at Charlestown, Nevis and 'Larceny from the Person' committed on 23rd February 2007 at Pinney's, Nevis.
