    What is better than a cool relaxing soothing shower on a scorching hot day? Well, eight workers of the Public Works Department enjoyed that fun on Tuesday May 25 at around midday, when they were going around Basseterre opening hydrants and releasing muddy water that clogged pipes and prevented the community from having clean drinking water.

     

     

     

    For the past week, the Federation have been experiencing showers of blessing that measured up to 4.34 inches, according to the Meteorologist Office located at the RLB Airport.

    The rain fell for some six days from Monday May 17th to Sunday May 23rd as a result of a small tropical wave with a low-pressure center and instability around the Eastern Caribbean, which was nothing  said an official at the Meteorologist Office.
