Kiddie hiding his face from the Media's camera

(Basseterre; St. Kitts): Philmore Seaton a.k.a. Kiddie who was recently acquitted of burglary charges at the 2007 January Assizes was shot last night, Thursday, March 8, by Police while they attempted to apprehend him.

 

Police became aware of Seaton of La Guerite when he allegedly robbed a young woman earlier of her cellular phone at gun point at Victoria Road.

 

The police officer who attempted to apprehend Seaton at around 11: 30 p.m. was apparently assaulted with a firearm by Seaton.

 

Instantaneously the officer discharged his service weapon, wounding Seaton, who was later pronounced dead at the scene.

 

One 9 mm Semi Automatic Pistol and one black mask were met at the scene.  They are said to belong to the deceased.  

The deceased's body has been removed to a funeral home, to await an autopsy.  The investigation is continuing.
