    (Basseterre; st. Kitts):
Koris 'CK' Woodley, a Sandy Pointer and student of the Sandy Point High School  drowned yesterday, Sunday, March 18 at Pinney's Beach in NevisHe died at age 17.

Woodley journeyed to Nevis with other members of the Boys' Brigade last Thursday for a weekend camp.

Reports suggest that he suffered from a cramp while he was out swimming and was taken out deeper and further by the strong currents of the sea.

Woodley was described as a fun, outgoing, quiet and very nice young man.

He leaves to mourn his parents Errol and Edna Woodley along with several siblings.

A teacher at the Sandy Point High School, Dwayne Weekes said that Koris was down-to-earth.

"He was a very nice guy, down-to-earth, outgoing and friendly; he got along with everyone," he said.

Woodley also worked a summer stint at SKNVibes.com where his older brother Gregory Gilbert (CEO) and cousin Cliff Richards both work.

Richards said that Koris was into music and liked to joke around.  He would visit the office from time to time and joke around with the employees.

"Sometimes he would poke his head through the door with this sly smile on his face, and we'd say what's up Koris and he'd just continue smiling,' said an employee at the company.  "It is devastating to know when one loses their life so young not to mention by drowning, but may the Lord be with his family during this time."

Koris' best friend is left heart-broken.

"I am heart-broken, there's a void.  That was my homie you know, we knew each other from small," said 17-year-old Clyde Wyatt of Sandy Point.

Wyatt said he was in St. Kitts and learned of the news right after it happened.

"I just couldn't believe when I heard the news you know, the last time we saw each other was when he was on his way to Nevis and he gave me some money to top up his phone, it's hard," he said.~~adz:Right~~
