    (Basseterre; St. Kitts):
The Cable is working assiduously to ensure that customers enjoy a very affordable option for internet services, says Marketing Manager Glen Phillip.

Phillip says his company is presently testing its wireless internet services, which it hopes to make available by the end of June, and on VOIP services, which it hopes to implement by year's end.

In addition to those improvements, the Cable is also giving internet customers the option of getting an internet bandwidth of up to 2 megabytes, which allows for greater connecting speeds.

"We have the capability to get as much bandwidth as we need because of the submarine cables (fibre optics) that were recently laid," Phillip stated.

Besides the improvement in the internet services, the Cable is also planning to conduct a survey to asking Cable Television subscribers what channels they would like to see in a tier.

"Our focus is on being customer friendly and we are responding positively to feedback from our subscribers that call for more family oriented channels," The Sales Manager noted.

He also said that customers could recommend any other channel, not provided, they think should be included in a tier.

The Cable is the only Cable Television service provider on the island.
