At 7:25 a.m. on Sunday 22nd April 2007, police responded to a report that a man appeared to dead in an alley at RussellVillage, Basseterre.
On visiting the area, officers found (41) forty-one-year-old Robert "Robbie" Smith of the area, sitting in a chair with a wound to the side of his head.
Investigations also revealed that gunshots were heard in the area, hours before the report was made. Police are urging the public to report such incidents immediately so as to expedite investigations.
Investigations are ongoing and a post mortem will be carried out at a later date to determine the cause of death.~~adz:Left~~
