The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Police Force is still investigating the discovery of a body that was found near the McKnight Day Care Centre, on Friday last, May 25th.
The Police have confirmed that the body is that of fifteen year old Saddler's Village male, Jumal"Sunky" Mike.
The body was discovered on the first floor of a church that is under construction.
An autopsy has not yet been performed on the body to determine the exact cause of death, but there was definitely a wound to the head of the body. The autopsy is expected to be performed on Friday.
The proverbial ear to the ground has come up with some rather interesting details- however such details should be treated as speculation as there has been no confirmation from the Police. ~~Adz:Right~~
There is speculation that the deceased was attacked in retaliation for taking personal possessions of another.
In another incident, a young man from Sandy Point, Adonis Freeman, was treated and discharged from the Joseph N. France General Hospital, for stab wounds, after he was allegedly attacked by several young men at Cockleshell Beach, on Monday 28th May.
Police are continuing their investigations into the incident.
