Basseterre, St. Kitts; (Thursday June 24, 2004) With words such as “mash up” and “tear up” the list of acts scheduled to perform on the Thursday night of the St. Kitts Music Festival said that they are ready to “turn up” things.
During a live press conference at the Fort Thomas Hotel, some hours ago, which began at 10 a.m. today Thursday June 24, performers such as Destra Garcia, Shurwayne Winchester and Denise Belfon of Trinidad said that they are ready to set “fire” to the place.
First comers to the festival out of Nevis, The Ultrasonics Band assured everyone that they will keep the fire flowing and turn it up a notch for the “sweetest band in the world” the Small Axe Band to carry on.
The other performers present at the historic hotel for the press conference were La Kru out of Antigua, St. Kitts’ very own “sugar band”, the Nu Vybes Band and Caribbean Trafik Band out of Trinidad.
