    (Basseterre; St.Kitts):
A number of officials from the United National Empowerment Party will gather later today Friday, June 1, at the War Memorial to carry out a march throughout the streets of Basseterre.  The march will begin at 3 p.m. and last until 5 p.m.

According to Winston Warner, Secretary of UNEP in a brief interview with SKNVibes.com, the march is for solidarity, and for the introduction of electoral reform, voters' ID and a new voters' list before next election.

He said the march is not only for the supporters of UNEP but for the entire country because it will benefit everyone. ~~Adz:Right~~

Warner further urged everyone to come out in their numbers and colours to support this national cause.

"People want a government that they are satisfied with in the end so this march is to help speed up the process by getting the Voters' ID's in place," he said.

He said the whole process has been slow and silent and shouldn't be taking this long.

There will also be a public rally from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. where speeches will be made by UNEP officials.
