    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JUNE 5TH 2007 (CUOPM)
    - Active-duty senior law enforcement and criminal justice officers from 25 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean converge on St. Kitts next week for the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Associates (FBI NAA) Latin American-Caribbean Chapter Conference.

     
    The  Conference will be held at the St. Kitts Marriot Resort and Casino from June 11 - 15 under the guidance its President Timothy Overton.

     
    Senior FBI executives from the USA and regional US Embassies will also attend the Conference at which St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas will deliver the Feature Address at the official opening ceremony at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday June 12th 2007.
     
    The FBI NAA is a professional law enforcement association representing some 15,000 senior law enforcement leaders worldwide, who have all graduated from the prestigious FBI National Academy Programme.  Over 48, 000 students, representing 156 countries, have graduated from the program since its inception in 1935. ~~Adz:Right~~
     
    Assistant Commissioner of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Mr. Austin Williams, Superintendents Ivor Blake and Ian Queeley are all graduates of the FBI National Academy.
     
    Superintendent Blake is the current President of the FBINAA Latin America and Caribbean Chapter.
