The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is investigating a shooting death of a Ross University student, which occurred on the morning of Thursday 22nd January 2004.

The Police High Command and the High Command of the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force have briefed an Emergency Meeting of the Cabinet.

The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will be asked to assist in the investigations.

The name of the victim will be released pending the formal notification of the next of kin.
