.jpg) (Basseterre, St. Kitts): A number of curious persons gathered on Fort Street as St. Kitts Defense Force officers searched several young men liming on the street corner earlier this morning June 15th.
Nothing was found in the young men’s possession but they were forced to tuck their shirts in their pants and warned about lingering on the street corners. 
The Defense Force has been carrying out frequent searches and raids in the past couple weeks since the alarming issue of several shooting incidents in such a short period of time and is urging the general public to assist them and come forward with any information regarding criminal activity.
